Exciting Things Happening!

There are so many exciting things going on right now with the Pistol Spread Option Offensive system that it is hard to begin to talk about them all!
First, Coach Anthony Pratley has just finished filming the new video for Championship Productions on the Silencer package! Look for the video to release in the next few months. The Silencer has the potential to be a game changer! It incorporates the best of the the I formation with the Zone Read Option abilities of the Pistol. Best of all, it fits FLAWLESSLY with the existing Pistol Spread Option offensive system. Until the video releases, the best place to find information on the Silencer is on the PSO 2013 Playook!
Secondly, we are less than 1 week away from two major happenings! Number 1, the Pistol Spread Option Northern Regional Clinic which is being held at Chaska High School in Chaska, MN is less than a week away! The event is scheduled for Saturday April 13th from 8:00 AM CST until 6:00 PM CST. There is still time to register at http://pistolspreadoptionnorthernregional.eventbrite.com/ The Clinic features speakers like Maryland State Champion coach Luke Ethington, Chaska High School Coach Lambert Brown, and many other PSO coaches. Of course the founder of the PSO Coach Anthony Pratley will be speaking as well.
While that may be enough to make the excitement level build, we are just days away from releasing the newest version of the Game and Practice Planning software. There are two versions of the software coming out and they are both fully customizable to fit your needs! You input your own play names, formation names, drills etc, and the software does the rest! The first version is for Pistol Spread Option System Members only and it is a fully customizable version of the Pistol Spread Option Offense, complete with all the PSO terms, formations, motions, and the PSO No Huddle System pre-loaded. Of course, you have the ability to make changes to the software this time! Also pre-loaded are the practice plans that Coach Pratley recommends for the PSO implementation. The second version of the software is the completely blank, completely customizable version. This version will be available on an individual basis on the Pistol Spread Option website, and is designed to use with any offensive system, because you create it! Your input builds the sheet and allows you to print out a fully custom game plan as well as fully customizable practice plans! You won’t want to miss out! Check the website for availability over the next few days.
Finally, there are only a few weekends left for Custom install camps or clinics and Team Camps! Slots are filling up at record pace. If you are interested in a private install camp or clinic you will need to act fast!

This week’s PSO Mini-Clinic is changing from Tuesday night the 19th of March to WEDNESDAY night March 27 at 8:00 PM EST. Coach Ryan Bishop from Davis High School in Davis, UT will be the guest speaker. He will be discussing his transition from Power football to the Spread Offense. 2nd Annual Youth Pistol Spread Option Clinic
Location: Skills Unlimited 24 Industrial Dr. Waldorf MD 20602
You are invited to attend the only Youth Football clinic of its kind in the country! Coach Brian Fox one of the originators of the Youth PSO and the first coach in the country to run this system at the youth level will be hosting this unique clinic. What makes our clinic so different from all others? Not only will coach Fox teach you all the X’s and O’s in the traditional classroom style clinic but he will also get on the field and show you how he installs it with actual youth players. Coach Fox will have his players there to teach you how he runs his Drills and Installs the System. You cannot get this at any other clinic in the Country, But wait he is taking it one step Further and allowing you to bring some of Your own Players so they can get instruction from the fore most leader in the Youth PSO. There will be a $20 cost for all coaches. All proceeds will be donated to Coach Fox’s Youth Program the Charles County Spartans. Also All coaches will be given a copy of Coach Fox’s Playbook and a collection of all Coach Fox’s football documents he has collected over the years! Because we will be in an inside sports facility seating capacity is limited to one hundred coaches so please pre-register ASAP before seats are taken.

The 2013 Pistol Spread Option Northern Regional Clinic will be held on April 13 at Chaska High School in Chaska, MN. Coach Anthony Pratley the founder of the Pistol Spread Option Offense as well as many other Pistol Spread Option Coaches such as State Champion Coach Luke Ethington from McDonough High School in Maryland and the Chaska High School Head Coach Lambert Brown, will be presenting information about the offense. Coach Pratley will also be introducing the “Silencer” Offensive Package. You do not want to miss out on this event!
Cost: $50 per person and $125 per staff.
The event will run from 8:00 AM CST to 5:00 PM CST.

In an effort to make the PSO affordable and available to everyone, the PSO is announcing the new 2013 Membership Packages! Details can be found on the Membership Link at the Top Menu.
We are now for the first time offering the Mini-Clinic Package!!!
For the first time ever the Pistol Spread Option is offering a monthly “mini-clinic” Membership option. The mini-clinic is an affordable way to learn how to run the Pistol Spread Option Offense from Coach Pratley and other members of the Pistol Spread Option Nation. The membership includes access to online Mini-Clinics which will be held on the FIRST and THIRD Tuesday night at 8:00 PM EST every month. These online Mini-Clinics will feature a different topic for each mini-clinic, some presented by Coach Pratley, and other weeks will feature a guest speaker from the teams that currently run the PSO. The speakers will discuss their own “spin” on the PSO.
The Mini-Clinic membership will also give you access to the PSO HUDL account in which Coach Pratley will have video clips available from various teams around the country who run the PSO, and will also feature playlists and video breakdowns with PSO terminology! As long as you are a Mini-Clinic member, you will have access to some of the HUDL content!
The cost for the Mini-Clinic Membership is a recurring monthly charge of $25!!! It is an affordable way to learn all you can about how to implement the PSO! Cancel anytime, but once you have witnessed a Mini-Clinic or logged in to the PSO HUDL site, you won’t want to!!
Mini-Clinics will be on a first come/first serve basis for members! Only 25 members are allowed access per mini-clinic, so log in early!
All Other PSO Membership Options INCLUDE THE MINI-CLINIC PACKAGE at no extra charge!
Coach Pratley to Speak at Nike Coach of the Year Clinic

Coach Pratley will be speaking at the Nike Coach of the Year Clinic in Northern Virginia/DC on February 2. There is still time to register for the clinic at http://www.nikecoyfootball.com/. He will be speaking about the Zone Read Triple Scheme from the PSO and also the new “Silencer” Offensive package.
