The Pistol Spread Option

The Pistol Spread Option Team Camp in Flint, MI on June 28 and 29th is now taking applications for more teams.  Flint Kearsley is the host team, and is willing to allow other teams to attend this year’s PSO Team Camp.  If you are interested, please see the CAMP section of the website to see how to sign up.

There are so many exciting things going on right now with the Pistol Spread Option Offensive system that it is hard to begin to talk about them all!

First, Coach Anthony Pratley has just finished filming the new video for Championship Productions on the Silencer package!  Look for the video to release in the next few months.  The Silencer has the potential to be a game changer!  It incorporates the best of the the I formation with the Zone Read Option abilities of the Pistol.  Best of all, it fits FLAWLESSLY with the existing Pistol Spread Option offensive system.  Until the video releases, the best place to find information on the Silencer is on the PSO 2013 Playook!

Secondly, we are less than 1 week away from two major happenings!  Number 1, the Pistol Spread Option Northern Regional Clinic which is being held at Chaska High School in Chaska, MN is less than a week away!  The event is scheduled for Saturday April 13th from 8:00 AM CST until 6:00 PM CST.  There is still time to register at http://pistolspreadoptionnorthernregional.eventbrite.com/  The Clinic features speakers like Maryland State Champion coach Luke Ethington, Chaska High School Coach Lambert Brown, and many other PSO coaches.  Of course the founder of the PSO Coach Anthony Pratley will be speaking as well.

While that may be enough to make the excitement level build, we are just days away from releasing the newest version of the Game and Practice Planning software.  There are two versions of the software coming out and they are both fully customizable to fit your needs!  You input your own play names, formation names, drills etc, and the software does the rest!  The first version is for Pistol Spread Option System Members only and it is a fully customizable version of the Pistol Spread Option Offense, complete with all the PSO terms, formations, motions, and the PSO No Huddle System pre-loaded.  Of course, you have the ability to make changes to the software this time!  Also pre-loaded are the practice plans that Coach Pratley recommends for the PSO implementation.  The second version of the software is the completely blank, completely customizable version.  This version will be available on an individual basis on the Pistol Spread Option website, and is designed to use with any offensive system, because you create it!  Your input builds the sheet and allows you to print out a fully custom game plan as well as fully customizable practice plans!  You won’t want to miss out!  Check the website for availability over the next few days.

Finally, there are only a few weekends left for Custom install camps or clinics and Team Camps!  Slots are filling up at record pace.  If you are interested in a private install camp or clinic you will need to act fast!
