2010 Pistol Spread Option Playbook Released!

I have decided to release the 2010 Pistol Spread Option Playbook as I work on it. This release is version 10.1. I have the running game updated, the playaction game and pieces of the screen game started. I will be working on the passing game this next few weeks. I will let you know when I have an updated version of the playbook uploaded to the site. I will be updated the playbook as often as I can get it done. I figured if I waited until it was finished, the season would be started.

The playbook is available for download in the playbooks section for members only.

Best of luck, let me know if you have any questions.

New Private Online Clinics!

The Pistol Spread Option Network is pleased to announce the creation of the new Online Private Clinic! Get 1 on 1 private clinics from Coach Pratley. Clinics cost $50 per session (Playbook access is included in the price!)

The content is delivered live on Skype. All you need is to download the skype player free at http://www.skype.com.

Coach Pratley will instruct you one on one and will walk through the playbook and answer any questions that you have. The usual session lasts about an hour, but can go as long as needed to deliver the instruction.

There are several options available:

1. The Running Game

Coach Pratley will walk you through the entire running game! Ask questions such as blocking schemes, fronts, assignments, alignments etc.

2. The Passing Game

Learn how to break down coverages, and run specific routes against specific defenses.

3. The Screen Game

Learn about several different Screen passes that can be utilized at key times in the PSO.

4. Play Action Passes

This is the perfect compliment to the running game. Learn about several of the specific play action passes and when to call them!

5. Formations, Shifts, and Motions

This is probably the single most important clinic that we offer. Learn ways to line up in nearly any formation imaginable with just a few simple words. Also learn how to create confusion for the defense using shifts and motions in the PSO.

6. The Complete Package

Get all 5 private clinic offerings for the price of just 4!

The process is simple.

1. Click on the Buy Now Button through Paypal below.

2. Download and install Skype (will only work if you have a microphone and speakers hooked to your computer or built in.)

3. Coach Pratley will contact you with date and time availability. Once a date and time is agreed upon, the private clinic will begin.

Please use the CONTACT US feature if you have any questions. Don’t miss out on this technological opportunity!

Password Problems

I apologize for the password issues that we were dealing with earlier.

In order to log in to the free portion of the site, you will need to reset your password. If you click the Lost Your Password link, it will now mail you a link. You click on the link, and your password will be emailed to you. I am really sorry for the inconvenience.

For the playbook portion, if you were already a member you will need to sign up for a new membership. Once you have done that, I will add you to the subscription portion of the website which will allow you the ability to view the playbook.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding!

Coach Pratley

Updates

The Pistol Spread Option Offensive website will be adding some new content in the near future. I am currently working on the 2010 edition of the PSO playbook. It should be done be the end of the month and will be added to the Playbook section of the site. I am also going to be working on adding video drill clips and more game film as well.

Just a quick reminder…The Pistol Spread Option Football Coaches Clinic will be taking place on January 16th Saturday from Noon-5 PM at Leonardtown High School in Leonardtown, MD. There is no cost for the clinic. For more information visit the PSO Clinics link on the menu.

I also wanted to inform all of you about the Blog Talk Radio Pistol Spread Option show that I host every Sunday evening. This is a live call in question and answer show about the offense.

I wish you all the best of luck!

Running through the hole.

Changes

As many of you have probably seen, we are making some drastic changes to the look of the Pistol Spread Option Nation. I have decided to offer the website as a free service. All of the content is now free with the exception of the Playbook section. The playbooks are still for members only. If you are currently a member of the site, your password will still work for the playbook section, but you will have to create a new user name and ID to leave comments or post information on the website.

I hope that you enjoy the new look and user-friendly content of the Pistol Spread Option!
Running through the hole.
