I'm a middle school coach looking to implement the inside veer from the pistol (Navy formation). What are the details of the QB and H footwork and mesh?

Out of the pistol you have to impliment the triangle footwork. A triangle should be painted with the base being five yards and the point of the triangle being at five yards. The QB sits in the middle at 3 yards and the back starts at the tip of the triangle. The back runs hard on the edge of the line of the triangle. The QB springs two yards and settles two yards, meshing with the RB.
My suggestion is to email me if you have specific questions at manines@smcps.org, or you can check out the triangle drills video on the website. I suggest you run that drill every day, it is the easiest and most effective way to teach the mesh.
